Curtin students are being hit with outrageous rent hikes, unsafe conditions, poor maintenance and a lack of proper services. These issues are not isolated problems, they are part of a broader housing crisis that is making it harder and harder for students to live, study and thrive. The Guild is calling this Housing Town Hall so that students can come together, share experiences, and make it clear that enough is enough.
Your Guild President will be in attendance along with current and incoming Guild Executives and Guild Representatives. Together we will listen, report on what the Guild has already been doing to fight for students, and stand united in demanding real action to fix student housing.
This meeting is not just another discussion. It is a chance to build collective power, to put UniLodge and the University on notice, and to show that students refuse to be ignored. By coming together and raising our voices we can push for fair, safe and liveable housing for every student at Curtin.
